Responses to natural disasters
This was preached on the Sunday a week following the Black Saturday Bushfires of 7 February, 2009. It seeks to correct faulty views of why natural disasters occur, whether they occur due to human sin and whether God is immediately responsible for them.
Why does God allow suffering, and more particularly, why does he allow the righteous to suffer? Is it because of my sin, or is something else going on?
